• During promotional period, existing UBS users(Windows version only) can subcribe to the Sage Cover Plans and immediately enjoy the benefits as subcriber, such as free upgrade to version 9.2, discounted price on user/module upgrades, etc...
• After promotional period, subcribe directly to Sage Cover plan is no more available. Users have to pay for version/user/module upgrade or replacement of spoilt dongle to latest version (e.g.9.2, which is packed with Sage Cover plan).
• Existing users should be advised to grab the promotional deal before 31/08/2007.

2.During Promotional Period

2.1. What is this promotion all about?

• The promotion is offered to all existing UBS users. During the promotional period, users are offered to subscribe to the Sage Cover Plan and immediately enjoy all the benefits of subscribers.
• This promotion ends 31/08/2007.

2.2. What are the options available during promotional period?

• There are 2 options for users to choose.

• Sage Cover 3-year

  2.3. How much is the subcription fee?

• As a subcriber, you enjoy the following benefits for a period of 12 months(or longer, depending on the plan chosen):

2.5. Having subscribed to Sage Cover Plan, can a user remain with his current version and not to upgrade to version 9.2?

• Yes. A subscriber can choose the best timing for him to go for version upgrade. He may go for version upgrade on every new version, or on the latest version after skipping few versions.

2.6. Having subscribed to Sage Cover plan, can a user immediately upgrade to version 9.2? How much do you charge if he is using Smart Lock and switching to USB key?

• Yes. He can immediatley upgrade to version 9.2 for free. He will be getting a new USB key at no charge.

2.7. Can a user ask for Smart Lock instead of an USB key when upgrading to version 9.2?

• No. UBS will no longer issue Smart Lock. Only USB dongle is available.

2.8.What would be your recommendation to a user of UBS Accounting version 8.3/9.0/9.1?

• Subscribe Save Cover plan 1-year, during the promotional period.

2.9.What would be your recommendation to a user who has just purchased UBS Accounting version 9.1 last month?

• Subcribe Save Cover plan 1-year, during the promotional period.

2.10.How about user combined dongle:Accounting & Stock Control?

• Subscribe Save Cover plan for both products, get upgraded tp version 9.2 and switch to 2 separate USB dongles(No extra charge).

2.11. Is there any condition to subscribe to Sage Cover?

• Sage Cover plan is only available for users of UBS software of Windows version.
• The current dongle must be in good condition and its serial number is intact and readable.
• The subscriber must be the genuine user/owner of the UBS product.

2.12. How does existing user subscribe to Sage Cover?

• Fill up the Sage Cover Registration Form and hand it to UBS authorised dealer, together with with payment for Sage Cover fee(made payable to UBS Corporation Sdn Bhd.) (the form is obtainable from any of UBS authorised dealers or branches. Alternatively, download the form from UBS website at www.ubs-software.com
• UBS will then verify the application and payment.
• UBS will then send out a Notification of Acceptance to both subcriber and Dealer on record.

2.13.Having subscribed to Sage Cover plan, how does a subsccriber upgrade to version 9.2?

• General Request form will be used. Complete and specify the type of request, then submit the form to UBS dealer.
• The form is obtainable from any of UBS authorised dealers or branches. Alternatively, download the form from UBS website at www.ubs-software.com
• The dealer has to submit the form together with PO.
• UBS will then verify the request and PO.
• New USB dongle will be issued to dealer(billed as new purchase) for delivery and installation at subscriber's site.
• CN will be issued to dealer upon receiving the returned lock/key within one month from the date of delivery.

2.14.Can the existing users subscribe to Sage Cover and request to upgrade to version 9.2 at the same time?

• Yes. Documents needed are:Registration form, general request form and PO from dealer, together with the payment.
• Sage Cover subscription would be accepted after verification and clearance of payment.
• The request for version upgrade will be processed once the subscription is accepted.

3.After Promotional Period

3.1.After the promotional period, can an existing user directly subscribe to Sage Cover?

• No. He/She has to upgrade(by paying upgrade fees as non-subscriber) their software to the latest version i.e. version 9.2 which is packed with Sage Cover Cover plan for 1-year. This means he/she will become a subscriber(and enjoy the subscriber's benefits) only after upgrading to the latest version.
• General Request form will be used.
• The old dongle needed to be returned in good condition.
• Not applicable for users of UBS products of DOS version.

3.2.What if the user's dongle is spoilt?He is not SC subcriber.

• He may request for replacement(by paying replacement fees as non-subcriber). A new USB dongle of latest version will be issued and packed with Sage Cover plan for 1-year.
• General Request Form will be used.
• The spoilt dongle must be returned and verified.
• Not Applicable for users of UBS products of DOS version.
